Patents

Over30 patents/patent applications (>90% as first inventor). Some are the foundation of Fiberio

Technology Inc. start up co-founded by Lozano, where she also acted as CTO. This new

technology (Forcespinning®) utilizes centrifugal force instead of hot air or an electrostatic charge

to create super fine fibers from a broad range of materials including metals and ceramics. The

productivity of nanofibers increases significantly, resulting in an unparalled productive capacity

besides overcoming many of the limitations encountered in current nanofiber manufacturing

methods.
